Sylvia’s End of season 2-odds winners

Congratulations to those that won especially with the massive 3+ odds from a single game last weekend.

This weekend I’m back with another bug odds win for those with the risk appetite as well as more tips from lesser leagues from around the world as we hope for an even better cumulative outcome than last weekend.

May the odds be in our favour!

AZ Alkmaar v FC Twente

This Eredivisie encounter is between third placed Alkmaar and Twente in eight place. Both teams are separated by 13 points, significantly.

Although both teams set to be without certain players available for this Saturday encounter, the hosts have a stronger and more complete squad to choose from.

Match facts between these two shows that the visitors haven’t lost in their last four games. Both teams have found the back of the net at least once in their last five and four games, respectively.

The hosts have scored nine goals in their last three matches while Twente have five. Twente’s last three games have ended in a draw. Meanwhile, AZ Alkmaar haven’t drawn in their 11 games.

Having scored 57 and 40 goals, respectively, ahead of match day 26, I fancy both teams to find the back of the net at least once in this one. But I’ll put the money on a home victory here.

Tip: 1 @ 1.47 odds

PSV Eindhoven v Feyenoord

It’s second placed PSV who host fifth placed Feyenoord. Both teams are separated by eight points.

Despite the superiority of PSV ahead of this one, it’s worth noting that based on head-to-head stats, Feyenoord has proven to be a tough opponent to face especially recently.

The visitors have not lost against their Saturday hosts in their last six encounters (4W, 2D).

PSV have scored in their last five home games, winning three and drawing one in that time. While the visitors have 13 goals in that time, wining one, and drawing two.

Although PSV are in a better run of form, they have lots of injury concerns that has kept out six of their first team squad. Expect a 50/50 clash. An important stat to take note of is that both teams have found the back of the net in all their last five meetings against each other. I expect that trend to continue this weekend. That’s where I’ll put my money.

FC Groningen v FC Emmen

It’s the bottom of the table Emmen who travel to Hitachi Capitol Mobility Stadio for this Saturday encounter.

Ordinarily, at a glance on the table, it’s easy to conclude that the hosts will claim all three points from this one. However, do the stats back it up?

Recent run of form pits both teams on two wins each in their last five games, while the hosts have recorded two draws in that time, one more than the visiting side. Certainly not enough confidence flying around between these two sides.

The visitors are a more potent side with and average of 1.67 goals per game in their last three outings while the hosts have 0.67. However, overall this season, Groningen have let in exactly half (27) the total number of goals let in by Emmen (54).

They’ve not drawn in their last six competitive games against each other.

Tip: 1 @ 1.91 odds

Score prediction: 2-0 @ 8.70 odds

Marseille v Brest

This Saturday encounter pits an out-of-form Marseille against and equally out of form Brest against each other. The hosts have two wins, two draws and one loss in their last five games while Brest have one win and three losses during that time.

Marseille have the privilege of sitting eight points and seven places above this opposition, thus, are clearly the favourites ahead of kick-off. They have scored in their last three home matches.

Surprisingly, Brest have a better goal to game ratio (1) than the hosts (0.67) in their last three matches.

Brest haven’t drawn in their last four outings. Nevertheless, chances of a draw is quite slim as I believe Marseille have just enough to claim all three points available.

Tip: 1 @ 2 odds

Monaco v Lille (single ticket advised)

Definitely the game of the weekend in Ligue Un.

After spending the last couple of years struggling to find their way back to the top, Monaco have had a good season so far, competing not so far off champions leagues places. On Sunday, they host surprise table toppers, Lille at the Stade Louis II, Monaco in this big encounter.

Both teams will be missing a handful of players although Monaco are worse hit with four players set to miss out through injury and suspension.

Lille already defeated Monaco 2-1 earlier this season in a December.

Monaco have scored in their last five home matches and have generally been prolific enough this season to become the joint second highest goal scorer with 56 goals after 28 games – averaging two goals per game.

However, against a Lille side whose success has been built on a solid defence, conceding just 17 goals since the start of the season – less than half of what the hosts have conceded, Monaco are set to have a difficult and potentially frustrating game. Lille have just been efficient.

I fancy the away side to claim something out of this game.

Tip: x2 @ 1.48 odds

Viborg v Esbjerg fB

This will be my first trip to the Danish league on this blog and it’s a big one.

Table toppers, Viborg host their closest rivals in this round 21 encounter. Both teams are separated by five points.

Incidentally, it’s the best home team against the best away team in the league. Perfectly poised! Viborg have lost just once in their last 16 outings. It was a friendly against Nordsjaelland.

The last three encounters between these two sides have ended in draws. Each team is also quite prolific enough to win this game. However, while I fancy pitching my tent with the hosts to win or draw this one, I’ll rather choose another market (thanks to the multiple markets on BestBet360). My money is on the first team to score.
