Augsburg v Werder Bremen

This will be a tightly contested encounter with either trying not to give out much as the battle to stay clear of relegation places.

Augsburg sit 14th while Werder Bremen are in 15th place in a league of 18 teams.

With nine wins, the hosts have won just one game more than their visitors in their last 19 meetings.

None of their last 17 experiences has ended in a draw. I’m strongly inclined to expect that prediction and at xxx it’s a risk I can personally take. However, to be safe for Sylvia’s green betting tips, I’ll expect the home side to get at least a point.

Not much separates these two sides in table position but they are five points apart. Significant points and enough to secure a place in Europe especially at this business end of things.

Having conceded just 35 goals in 32 matches, it speaks to the efficiency of the home side in getting the job done.

In terms of run of form, both sides have won two of their last five apiece albeit, with a draw more by the home team.

The fact that the visitors won the first leg by a lone goal is more reason to expect revenge from Leverkusen.

Schalke 04 v Frankfurt 

Schalke seem to have given up on the season and have accepted their fate of a relegation.

The rock bottom club and leakiest defence in the league against the might of the league’s third highest goal scorer, Schalke are doomed.

Chelsea v Leicester

My dip into the FA cup and official 2+ odds for this weekend is from this game and I’ll just go straight to it, without much analysis.

Both teams are coming off the back of slightly different fortunes, a contrast from what it was weeks ago.

While Leicester have just recorded a massive morale-boasting victory at Manchester United, Chelsea lost one to Arsenal. Opposite fortunes.

As a Cup final, I doubt league fortunes and head to head stats matter here.

However, I’ll put a leg and an arm on this tip, figuratively.

Qindao FC v Chongqing LiangJiang Athletic 

Yep, the Chinese Super League is back after the unwanted long break.

A victory for the hosts will be their first win for the hosts in 12 game.
