Sylvia’s End of season 2-odds winners

We return this week with Sylvia’s 50 odds selections

Four correct calls out of seven prediction last weekend. Just when I was hoping to celebrate a conservative fourth consecutive weekly 2+ odds to conclude a clean sweep in that for the month of April.

FC Utrecht v Willem II

It’s sixth versus 15th in this 18-team league on Saturday.

The odds are strongly in favour of the hosts for several reasons.

In terms of head-to-head, Utrecht have won 11 and drawn four of their 17 matches against this opposition.

On current form, the hosts can boast of 3W, 1D out of their last 5 while the visitors have 2W and 1 draw in that time. Willem, while just one point above relegation battle, are also aren’t helped by the fact that they’ll be without four first team players through injury.

Sylvia’s 50 odds selections says it’s the home side’s three points to lose.

Tip: 1 @ 1.54 odds

Heracles v VVV Venlo

This is another fixture that I expect the home side to win comfortably. But why?

The visitors are having a bad season and are currently deep in relegation places, second from the bottom, with six matches to go.

While Heracles find themselves in eighth place, they have lost almost more than half of their matches this season – 13, after 30 league matches. So they are vulnerable. The last encounter between these two ended in a 3-2 victory for Venlo.

However, the visitors are expected to record their 11th consecutive loss on Saturday.

Tip: 1 @ 1.66

Vitesse Arnhem v PEC Zwolle

Let me start by saying my money is one hundred percent on the home side for Sylvia’s 50 odds selections.

Vitesse occupy the Europa qualification spot in fourth place. They’ve have a very impressive season and are 22 points ahead of their visitors. Currently they are in a worse run of form with 1W and 2D than their visitors who have 3W and 2L from their last five. The visitors stand a chance.

However, with home advantage and the desperate need to remain in the top four, knowing that a slip could see them lose that spot to Feyenoord, hot on their heels.

PSG v Lens

Lens may not be one of the biggest names in Ligue Un but they’ve certainly proven to be a disrupting force this season. Thus, they’ve found themselves in European qualification places.

PSG, at home and wounded from a surprise Champions League turnaround against Manchester City, midweek, will be looking to renew their strength ahead of the second leg. And ideally, Lens is a good opposition to face as preparation but even that game will be a challenging mountain to climb.

The last time these sides met was in September and the visitors recorded their first win over PSG. I won’t be surprised if things go the same way on Saturday.

PSG haven’t been as solid defensively and for some weird unpopular reason, I fancy both teams to hit the back of the net.

Tip: GG @ 1.75 odds

FC Groningen v Sparta Rotterdam

Despite their mixed run of form in recent times, for Sylvia’s 50 odds selections, I tip the hosts to grab at least a point in this one against this opposition, in part, thanks to the visitors’ very porous back side.

Tip: 1x @ 1.35 odds

PSV Eindhoven v SC Heerenveen

My first thought in this game is that the hosts will break the deadlock. However, weighing other options, it’s a better bet to put the money on both teams to find the back of the net at least once in this encounter. Their last five games have ended in at least three goals scored. With 77 goals scored between them this term, I fancy goals to flow, as usual.

Monaco v Lyon

This is my 2+ odds for this weekend.

Sometimes there are some fixtures that when you analyze and compare the odds marked against certain calls, you’ll swear the bookie had set the odds 30mins after having a shot. Lol. This fixture is one of such.

Given that Lyon have had a good season so far to find themselves in the mix of the race for European places, however, having lost at home last weekend to Lille, chances of a victory at the Stade Louis II is even slimmer.

Monaco haven’t lost in nine games while Lyon have lost their last two, including a 2-0 loss to Monaco in the Coupe de France just two Wednesdays ago.

Tip: 1 @ 2.31 odds

Sporting CP v CD Nacional

Tip: NG @ 1.60 odds

Correct score prediction: 2-0 @ 5.70 odds

All predictions culminate in a total of 57.82 odds.
