Welcome to Sylvia’s 2+ odds picks on the final match day in the top leagues.

With a lot on the line for most of these clubs in terms of relegation and continental hopes, this is a huge opportunity to cash in on some of those leagues. As usual, I have my 2+ odds for this weekend.

Borussia Dortmund v Bayer Leverkusen 

After a slow start to the season, Dortmund  finally managed to secure a place in next season’s Champions League with a 3-1 victory at Mainz.

A victory in-front of home fans against this opposition on the last day of the season will guarantee them a third place finish added to the DFB Pokal title.

Leverkusen aren’t exactly chasing anything as their position can not be altered, irrespective of the score line at full time.

This reverse fixture saw a seven goal thriller with the visitors claiming all three points. With the home team in a better run of form with a 100% record in their last seven games, I expect an eighth and goals for Sylvia’s 2+ odds picks.

Wolfsburg v Mainz

Another game I expect to end in a home victory on Sylvia’s 2+ odds picks even though this time, both teams have something to play for. Luckily for Wolfsburg, Mainz are safe from relegation irrespective of results involving other teams around them.

While the hosts are guaranteed a Champions League place, the race for third place is still on.

Aston Villa v Chelsea

A struggling Chelsea in December saw out a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge. At that time, Villa were competing in Champions League and Europa league places.

Since then, the Blues have gone gears higher while Villa have dropped and are now in fact in the second half of the table in 11th.

Also, despite the home support Villa are set to enjoy, the Blues have more at stake while the home side are consigned to 11th irrespective of the scores at full time.

Although I expect Villa to derive their motivation in being party poppers, I fancy Chelsea celebrating cementing third place at full time irrespective of what happens at King Power Stadium

Leicester City v Tottenham 

This is my official 2+ odds for this weekend.

Spurs again are bottling their season when it matters most. I don’t see any chance of them making automatic Europa qualification when they travel to a Leicester side that played the way they did twice in three days against Chelsea.

My money is on an outright Leicester victory for Sylvia’s 2+ odds picks and honestly, I won’t bet against Kelechi Iheanacho ending the season with another goal to leave us anticipatory more this season and probably force his name in the transfer news column this summer.

Lens v Monaco

On another day of the season, this would be another big game that could go either way. But on this final say of the season, Monaco have a lot on the line, just two points behind PSG and away from Champions League spot.

Lens have had a strong season and are firmly in Europa qualification spot. However, they’ve arrived at this point in a bad run of form with just one win and one draw in their last five games. While the visitors have three wins and two losses in that time.

Unlike Lens, Monaco have a fully fit squad to pick from.
