Sylvia’s End of season 2-odds winners

Sylvia’s 2-odds Mega wins Selections is back this weekend with some mega odds following last weekend’s success with two out of three fixtures with 2+ odds came through. If you pay attention, you’ll see where I hide my most precious gems.

It’s been back-to-back blockbuster games from England to Spain to the surprise one in Saudi Arabia. I guess when it rains, it really does pour. Get your umbrellas ready as it’s bound to continue this weekend in the premier league when Liverpool play host to Chelsea in this early kick-off.

This fixture will lead the way into the rest of the weekend’s fixtures across different leagues.

Liverpool v Chelsea

I am starting Sylvia’s 2-odds Mega wins Selections with Liverpool having the upper hand in all ramifications. Chelsea just can’t seem to catch a break. Except you choose to count the narrow 1-0 victory over London rivals, Crystal Palace during the week. The Blues are clearly on a clean-out of the squad and have probably almost if not equaled the most players signed in a January window. Don’t fact-check me, I’m just saying because that’s how much it feels to Chelsea fans. Yet the effect can’t be felt positively on the pitch.

Both teams are tied on points with near-equal stats in their last five games. However, seated in the ninth and tenth, respectively, they both know it’s not the right place to be and the pressure is high.

Both teams have been missing key players but Chelsea are the only ones that seem to have added some reinforcements this winter break. The feeling is that the new signings in addition to returnees like Reece James, Chillwell and Kante, if it’s not too early, will help them get one over their hosts on Saturday.

Unfortunately for the Reds, while they should normally be happy about the home advantage, the last four fixtures between these two ended in draws. With fifty percent of them being goalless draw. Both teams will also be looking to secure points that could be translated into a six pointer due to its importance. I’ll bet on goals.

Tip: Highest scoring half – SH @ 1.92 odds

Leicester v Brighton

At this point it appears just about any team can beat Leicester City. I doubt there is a turning point for Brendan Rodgers. The only way out of this situation for him is out of the club. The players look like they lack motivation and need a fresh start.

Brighton on the other hand, look gingerly. They are enjoying their game and are in a position they wouldn’t have seen themselves being in at the start of the season. They are almost double the points of the hosts with 30 points against Leicester’s 17.

Historically, Brighton haven’t been a walk in the park to the Foxes. The visitors haven’t lost against this Saturday opponent in four meetings stretching back to 2021. I fancy an away victory.
