The Toffees also come into this clash in better form as they have won all of their previous four league games as compared to West Ham who are without a win in their last four games. Manchester United vs Aston Villa
The last time these two sides clashed at Old Trafford, Aston Villa held Manchester United to a 2-2 draw. I won’t be surprised if Dean Smith’s men get something again from this one as they are in a good form at the moment. However, Manchester United are also flying at the moment, having won seven out of their last nine matches without losing. For D Pundit’s New Year predictions, I expect this game to be a cracking one and produce goals at both ends of the pitch. But I think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men will come out on top on the day at 1.76 odds with BestBet360. Bruno Fernandes is in the form of his life at the moment and really looking unstoppable, I see him making the difference for his team on Friday.

Crystal Palace vs Sheffield United
Could this be the game Sheffield United get to earn their first win of the campaign? Well, if the Blades are looking for a team that can hand them their first win of the season, then they should be looking no further than Crystal Palace. The Eagles are all over the place at the moment and if Sheffield United can replicate what they displayed in their recent matches against Brighton and Burnley, they will defeat Palace. The Eagles are really vulnerable at the back, having shipped 11 goals in only their previous three games. Burnley vs Fulham
All of Fulham’s last four games have ended in a draw and I think they will really be looking for ways to turn their draws into wins. However, they will be coming up against a very formidable side in Burnley. Sean Dyche’s side know how to frustrate an opponent and squeeze out a win and I think if they can get the first goal here then it’s game over for Fulham. Newcastle United vs Leicester City
Newcastle held Liverpool to a goalless draw last time out and I think that five-at-the-back system they utilized was really effective. Chelsea vs Manchester City
Chelsea’s display in recent games have really been poor and I think they will lose here if they don’t improve their performance. Regardless of the fact that Manchester City aren’t really in their best of form, you still got to be at your very best to get something against them. And if Manchester City’s last two results in the league are anything to go by, then it shows they are beginning to experience an upturn in their form and there are not too many teams in the land that can withstand an in-form Manchester City side.
I watch Chelsea play these days and I really can’t tell what they are trying to do on the pitch. They just seem to be all over the place and that’s down to the manager. I think the Chelsea board have backed the manager in the market and anything other than a finish in the top four will be regarded as a failure, which might lead to the sack of the manager at the end of the season.
Having said that, I am going to put my money on Manchester City to come out on top at 2.31 odds with BestBet360. I know Chelsea were victorious at home against Manchester City in their last two meetings there but I think the Blues will really be fortunate to get a point this time around.

Southampton vs Liverpool
Liverpool surprisingly went from beating Crystal Palace 7-0 to drawing against West Brom and Newcastle. Southampton will look at that and draw confidence; however, they have got a very bad record against Liverpool. Southampton have lost all their last six matches against the Reds, and I think they will lose again here at 1.67 odds with BestBet360. West Brom and Newcastle played a very cautious system against Liverpool that was why they could frustrate the Reds. But Southampton love to go all-out and they will just play into Liverpool’s hands that way.
