Cindy’s best green calls returns for another Premier League weekend, with the push for top-four spots and the fight to escape relegation taking centre stage in England.

While Man City are very close to title glory, Liverpool – the defending champions – are hoping to secure a Champions League spot. They, however, must hurt Man United at the Theatre of Dreams this weekend to keep that hope alive.

For your betting pleasure, here are predictions for this gameweek’s match-ups.

Manchester City to beat Crystal Palace

This is our first call of Cindy’s best green calls.

Fresh off a huge 2–1 away win against PSG in the first leg of the Champions League semis, Man City will travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on Saturday, and they will fancy their chances.

Guardiola’s men are having a wonderful season – they’re on the back of three straight wins and should be too good for Palace, who are on a three-game winless run (L2, D1).

Leicester to beat Southampton

Southampton play host to Leicester at St. Mary’s Stadium on Friday. The same ground where they were thrashed 9–0 by the Foxes back in 2019. They’ve lost two of their three encounters with Leicester since then, and their recent form suggests another defeat is likely.

Both teams met two weeks ago in the FA Cup semis, a match Leicester won, thanks to a strike from Kelechi Iheanacho, who is currently in rich goal-scoring form.

The Foxes, in third place, are chasing a fourth competitive win on the bounce and should be good enough to beat the Saints, who have lost their last three games.

Brighton vs Leeds (Over 1.5 Goals)

Brighton are in 17th place, seven points above the relegation zone with five games to go. So, this is one match they have to win. However, their form (a four-game winless run) makes facing Leeds a challenging task. Leeds are unbeaten in their last six games – a run that includes a win against Man City and draws against Liverpool and Man United – and will look to keep it going.

However, Bielsa and his men may not have it easy on Saturday, given the doggedness of teams looking to avoid relegation.

But Cindy’s best green calls backs this encounter to produce at least two goals – just as we’ve seen in six of the last seven meetings between them.

Chelsea to beat Fulham

Fulham are stuck in the relegation zone and are without a win in their last five league games. Meanwhile, Chelsea, who are in fourth place, are looking to consolidate their spot in the top-four and will go all out for a win on Saturday.

Their 1–1 draw against Real Madrid in the Champions League semis in midweek coupled with six wins in their last six meetings with Fulham should inspire them to a win at the Bridge.

Everton vs Aston Villa (Over 1.5 Goals)

Everton and Aston Villa will go head-to-head at Goodison Park on Saturday. Everton are 8th with a game in hand on every other team above them and they certainly believe that a top-four finish is still attainable. Well, they’d have to take down Aston Villa to stay on track.

Picking a winner here is proving tricky, but Cindy’s best green calls going with over 1.5 goals seems conservative. Aston Villa haven’t won any of their last three games (against Liverpool, City and West Brom), but they have scored at least a goal in each of those games.

Their contest on Saturday should produce at least two goals before full time.

Tottenham to beat Sheffield United

After losing the EFL Cup final to Man City, Tottenham will be eager to finish the season in the top four. They’re in seventh place, five points off the top-four zone and victory against the already–relegated Sheffield will keep them on track.

Spurs defeated the Blades 3–1 back in January and new manager Mason Ryan should be able to guide his side to another win on Sunday.

Manchester United vs Liverpool (Both Teams To Score)

Sixth-placed Liverpool will travel to Old Trafford to face Man United on Sunday, hoping to end a run of three games without a win.

While United are eyeing Europa League success and are in second place on the Premier League log, Liverpool are hoping they can finish the season in the top four. The Reds are a far cry from what they were last season.

United’s six-game unbeaten run and a 3–2 success against Liverpool in their last meeting will have them feeling confident ahead of this eagerly-anticipated clash.

But it would be unwise to completely underestimate Jürgen Klopp and his men. The last game between these sides produced five goals with both teams getting on the scoreboard. That’s likely to happen again. So we go with both teams scoring.

Arsenal to beat Newcastle

Arsenal travel to St. James’ Park on Sunday to face Newcastle and they’re fancied to come away with all three points.

Arsenal haven’t been convincing recently, with just one win in their last three league games. But they hold a weighty head-to-head lead against Newcastle. They’ve beaten their hosts in each of their last five league encounters, including a 3–0 success back in January. They’ve conceded just once in all previous five meetings.

Looks like no matter what form the Gunners are in, they always find a way to dominate the Magpies. For Cindy’s best green calls, they should do so again on Sunday and bag all three points.

West Brom vs Wolves (Both Teams To Score)

West Brom are 19th – nine points away from safety with only five games left. They still have hope, but that hope is as slim as a garter snake. Wolves, meanwhile, are 12th and may be pushing for a place in the top half of the log.

Both teams have won two of their last four games. Their last meeting was a somewhat interesting five-goal affair, with West Brom winning 3–2. They should both be able to get on the scoresheet again, at the Hawthorns on Monday night.

Burnley vs West Ham (Over 2.5 Goals)

Burnley and West Ham are also squaring off on Monday night. Chelsea were able to shut out West Ham’s attack last weekend, which was unsurprising. But the Hammers are expected to regain their goal-scoring touch against 14th-placed Burnley.

Like Liverpool and Tottenham, fifth-placed West Ham are also looking to secure a top-four spot and will try to get maximum points against Burnley at Turf Moor. Burnley hit four past Wolves last weekend, so they should be able to bring that attacking fluidity into Monday’s game. This has the makings of an enthralling affair.

Expect goals – at least three.
