Boom Banker’s 14-odds Home Wins ACCA

The Boom Banker’s 20 odds Home Wins picks for last weekend was only binned by Fotbal Club FCSB who were held to a heartbreaking goalless draw at home by Voluntari.

On the back of the painful Cut-1, the Boom Banker returns this weekend with another sweet, well researched 18 odds Home Wins ACCA.

Let’s play along!

RB LEIPZIG VS FC KOLN

RB Leipzig will endeavour to claim their third successive win since the international break when they welcome FC Koln to the Red Bull Arena for a Bundesliga clash on Saturday evening.

While Die Roten Bullen are yet to lose on home soil this season, the visitors are still searching for their first away victory.

RB Leipzig suffered a drop-off in form heading into the international break, albeit playing out a respectable 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich and losing 3-1 to Champions League holders Manchester City before sharing the points in a goalless stalemate with VfL Bochum, but they have since claimed back-to-back wins over SV Darmstadt 98 and Red Star Belgrade.

Indeed, a 3-1 Bundesliga victory away against Darmstadt last weekend was followed just three days later by a win via the same scoreline at home to Red Star, with club-record signing Lois Openda netting four goals across the two fixtures to increase his goal tally for the campaign to seven in 13 games.

Leipzig will welcome a return to the Red Bull Arena this weekend as they are unbeaten in each of their last eight Bundesliga games on home soil, although their last two have ended as draws – not since March/April 2021 have Die Roen Bullen failed to win three successive home league matches.

Success on Saturday is not a given for Rose and co considering that they have drawn three of their last four meetings with Koln, including both home and away encounters last season – a 2-2 draw in Leipzig in August last year was followed by a goalless stalemate in the reverse fixture in February.

After failing to win each of their opening seven Bundesliga matches and making their joint-worst start to a top-fight campaign, Koln finally opened their account for the new season with a 3-1 home victory over Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend.

Koln’s maiden victory last weekend has given them a timely boost heading into a tricky encounter with Leipzig, but the Billy Goats will be regarded as the underdogs on Saturday.

Die Roten Bullen have been frustrated by Koln in recent meetings, but their in-form attackers will do enough to fire them to a comfortable victory this time around.

This is unlikely to be anything other than a home win for RB Leipzig at 1.43 odds on BestBet360.

JUVENTUS VS VERONA

With the chance to seize top spot in Serie A – for one day, at least – Juventus seek victory over Hellas Verona on Saturday evening.

Following last week’s win over AC Milan, Juve have moved within range of both second-city clubs, who play on Sunday, and a third straight success would see them claim the summit.

Not only have Juventus kept a clean sheet in both of their last two home league games – as many as in the previous nine – they have not conceded a goal anywhere for over 360 minutes: only Ligue 1 club Nice boast a better ongoing streak across Europe’s top five leagues.

Ahead of Saturday’s assignment, the Bianconeri have won each of their last three league matches versus Verona, keeping a clean sheet in each, and have also scored in each of the clubs’ last 20 meetings. Indeed, their dominance over the Gialloblu on home soil is even more comprehensive.

Verona have gone without a win through 32 previous away matches against Juventus in the Italian top flight – suffering no fewer than 27 defeats – so the weight of history is certainly stacked against them this weekend.

Marco Baroni’s current crop also travel to Turin having picked up just two points from their last seven games, which sees them sitting just above Serie A’s drop zone.

Following a 3-1 reverse at home to Napoli last time out, Hellas have lost their last two matches and face suffering three league defeats in a row for the first time this calendar year.

Having started to collect clean sheets as they did during several productive spells last season, Juventus are primed for another win against goal-shy Verona. The visitors have yet to taste victory at the Allianz Stadium despite several years of trying, and they should expect to traipse home empty-handed once again.

Juventus to win at 1.42 odds on BestBet360 comes handy.

ASTON VILLA VS LUTON TOWN

Aston Villa will be looking to strengthen their hold of fifth position in the Premier League standings when they play host to Luton Town on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, each of Luton’s five points in this division have come in their last four games, giving them confidence ahead of a second successive trip to the Midlands.

Villa have now netted an astonishing 17 goals in just four league games at Villa Park, making it 11 successive victories at their West Midlands base.

Unai Emery resisted the temptation to make mass changes for the Europa Conference League tie at AZ Alkmaar which followed, Villa replicating their 4-1 triumph versus the Hammers in what was arguably the eye-catching result of this week’s European fixtures.

There are ambitions for Villa to achieve a top-five spot and win that particular competition during 2023-24, and that will realistically require them to take advantage of such fixtures like the one on Sunday.

Nevertheless, while a home encounter with Luton is the easiest of any team’s schedule on paper, Rob Edwards’s side have started to settle and will have Villa’s respect.

One win and two draws have come from their last five outings, their two league defeats during that period coming by 2-1 and 1-0 scorelines to Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.

With 11 home Premier League victories in a row, no one will be able to back any of the current top flight to defeat Villa at their home ground right now. Another four-goal salvo could follow in this contest, a scoreline that would have the potential to hit Luton in the long term.

Backing Aston Villa to secure a comfortable home win at 1.28 odds on BestBet360.

LIVERPOOL VS NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Liverpool will be seeking to continue their winning runs when they welcome Nottingham Forest to Anfield on Sunday.

After claiming a 5-1 win over Toulouse on Thursday night, Liverpool have now won each of their last seven games at Anfield. The Reds head into this game having won three of their last four matches, while they have scored 11 times along the way.

The hosts had a tricky start to the league season but they navigated it well, which has them just three points shy of top spot ahead of this weekend’s games. Their schedule eases up in the league moving forward, which gives Jurgen Klopp’s side an opportunity to build more momentum in their title push.

Liverpool look fantastic going forward at the minute, averaging 2.75 goals per game at home in the league. They’ve also posted the second-highest xG across the league this term, which is to be expected given that their forward players are really clicking under Klopp.

Mohamed Salah comes into this game with five goals in his last three games, while the forward has been directly involved in 17 goals in his last 13 Premier League appearances at Anfield. He’s been involved in a goal in each of those games, while he has taken his league tally for the club at Anfield to 84 goals and 32 assists in 115 home appearances for the Reds.

Sunday’s match comes a year to the day since Jurgen Klopp’s last lost at home in the League, with Leeds picking up victory 12 months ago thanks to a dramatic late winner from Crysencio Summerville.

Since then it has been relentless from Liverpool on home soil and they look close to their best again after last season’s struggles, with a title bid very much on the cards.

Forest have drawn four of their five League games and would be delighted with another point here, having already beaten Chelsea on the road this season and pushed Arsenal and Manchester United close.

Liverpool to secure a routine home win comes at 1.32 odds on BestBet360.

BAYER LEVERKUSEN VS FREIBURG

Bayer Leverkusen will be aiming to make it five wins in a row in the Bundesliga when they host Freiburg on Sunday.

The visitors, meanwhile, returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory against VfL Bochum last weekend.

However, Alonso and his players will likely be more weary of Bayern Munich and to a lesser extent Borussia Dortmund, with last season’s title rivals both sitting two points behind Leverkusen heading into the weekend. With those two sides both playing before Leverkusen’s fixture against Freiburg, they are likely to be knocked off the summit, ramping up the pressure to keep winning once more.

Leverkusen maintained their perfect record in the Europa League this season by thrashing Qarabag FK 5-1 on Thursday evening, with Florian Wirtz marking his return to the starting XI with a goal after just four minutes. Grimaldo scored twice during the comfortable win, which leaves Alonso’s side three points clear of the Azerbaijani champions in Group H.

Freiburg, meanwhile, secured an important victory in the Europa League themselves as they ran out 3-1 winners away to Backa Topola. This is Breisgau-Brasilianer’s second successive season competing in Europe’s secondary competition, having finished inside the top six in each of the last two campaigns.

Both teams could be a little tired after their exertions in the Europa League on Thursday, but one can envisage Leverkusen’s greater squad depth – and fewer amount of injuries – helping them towards a fifth successive victory in the Bundesliga and ending another matchday at the top of the table in the process.

Freiburg have not looked quite as strong as in recent seasons, and while they should still have more than enough quality to secure another top half finish, competing for the top six once again may prove beyond them.

Bayer Leverkusen to prevail at 1.38 odds on BestBet360.

CHELSEA v BRENTFORD

Chelsea prepare to throw out the “blue carpet” as the side welcome city rivals Brentford ahead of the West London derby at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Blues, last time out failed to capitalize on a two-goal cushion as they were held to a 2-2 draw by fellow city rivals Arsenal while the Bees returned to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 triumph over struggling side Burnley.

Interestingly, the visitors, led by Thomas Frank will fancy a trip to Stamford Bridge as they have picked up seven points from a possible nine available in their last three league meetings against the hosts, scoring six goals and conceding only one in the process.

The H2H between both sides in all competitions has seen each side claim two wins apiece and playing out a draw in the other game. The last game at Stamford Bridge saw Brentford go away with a 2-0 win.

PREDICTION: Brentford, in recent times have taken advantage of Chelsea’s decline and will hope to claim further bragging rights over the Blues but Chelsea, being on the ascendancy of late will hope to hold down the fort on and churn out a good performance at home. We feel this game will have enough goal-mouth action, so a GG prediction at 1.68 odds @Bestbet360, should be the best bet.

RB LEIPZIG v FC KÖLN

Keen to secure their third successive win (in all competitions) since the international break and break into the top four on the league standings, RB Leipzig welcome FC Köln to the Red Bull Arena this Saturday.

Die Roten Bullen Head into this game fresh of a UCL group stage win over Serbian side Redstar Belgrade, winning 3-1, while Die Geißböcke claimed a 3-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach in their last league game.

RB Leipzig, led by Marco Rose, remain very formidable at home and are yet to taste defeat on home turf (W2,D2) while the visitors, led by Steffen Baumgart are still in search of their first victory on the road this term.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings has seen results been somewhat even as each side has claimed a win and played draws in the other three games. The last meeting at the Red Bull Arena saw both sides play out a 2-2 draw.

PREDICTION: Whilst the hosts will be keen to maintain momentum and extend their winning run, their performances against Köln can’t be ignored as both sides have played stalemates in two of their last three outings, with the visitors scoring in their last two visits to the Red Bull Arena. We predict a GG outcome at 1.66 odds @Bestbet360.

JUVENTUS v HELLAS VERONA

Looking to extend their unbeaten run in the league to five games, Juventus prepare to host a Hellas Verona at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday.

Bianconeri, last time out, claimed a hard fought 1-0 victory over AC Milan, while I Gialloblu, in their previous game were defeated 1-3 at home to champions Napoli, extending their winless run to seven league games.

The hosts, led by Massimiliano Allegri could temporarily go top of the table with a win over the struggling visitors who could yet have their woes compounded further should they taste defeat on the road this weekend.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings in all competitions has seen Juve claim 3 victories, playing one draw and losing once to Verona. The hosts have won the last three meetings and could make it a fourth win given Verona’s dwindling form this season.

PREDICTION: While Juve may have closed the gap up top, Marco Baroni’s Hellas Verona have claimed 2 points from their last seven league games and travel to Turin to face an in-form Juventus. The chances of claiming an away victory look very bleak for Verona and very unlikely. We predict a straight win for the home side (1), that option will go for 1.39 odds @Bestbet360.

BORUSSIA MÖNCHENGLADBACH v HEIDENHEIM

One point apart and keen to return to winning ways, Borussia Mönchengladbach and this season’s debutants, FC Heidenheim prepare to do battle at the Borussia Park this Saturday.

Die Fohlen, last time out slumped to a 3-1 defeat away from home against FC Köln while FCH, let go of a two-goal lead in the 2-5 home defeat to Augsburg.

Heading into this clash, the hosts’ struggles this term has seen them occupy 13th spot with six points from eight games, while the visitors lie a point ahead in 11th position with 7 points from eight games.

This game will be the first meeting between both sides in the Bundesliga, with their only other meeting being a DFB Pokal Game 12 years prior, with Mönchengladbach claiming a victory via a penalty shootout.

PREDICTION: Interestingly, both sides have played several high scoring encounters this season and average at least four goals per game, so we expect enough goal-mouth action in this particular encounter. We predict a GG outcome, that option will go for 1.41 odds @Bestbet360.

ASTON VILLA v LUTON TOWN

In-form Aston Villa will aim to make it three consecutive wins (in all competitions) when they host league debutants Luton Town at Villa Park this Sunday.

The Villians head into this clash off an impressive 4-1 win over Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Europa Conference League, While the Hatters staged a sensational comeback in the 2-2 draw away at Nottingham Forest last time out in the league.

Unai Emery’s Villa have stolen hearts with their recent displays and new found inclination for scoring goals, scoring nine goals and conceding three in their last three games in all competitions, while struggling Luton Town have seen life in top flight football may not be as “dreamy” as expected, with the side claiming one point from their last three games.

This game will be the first meeting between both sides in the Premier League.

PREDICTION: Aston Villa have become an ostensibly formidable outfit on home turf, securing 11 home Premier League victories in a row, a fact that will discourage the visiting side who haven’t been anywhere near impressive to say the least. We feel Aston Villa will claim a comfortable victory this weekend, so a combo option of home win and over 2.5 goals scored (1 & ov. 2.5G) at 1.54 odds @Bestbet360, will do the trick.

This week’s entire selection leaves you with a sempe ACCA combo of 7.68 odds thanks to your preferred bookmakers Bestbet360.

Remember to always bet responsibly and may the odds surely be in your favor this weekend. Kpoko!!!!!

Boom Banker’s 14-odds Home Wins ACCA

Boom Banker’s 20-odds Home Wins ACCA

It is another weekend of exciting football action across leagues in Europe, and the Boom Banker is here to make it more exciting for you with a juicy 20 odds Home Wins ACCA.

Let’s play along!

GLASGOW RANGERS VS HIBERNIAN

The Philippe Clement era begins on Saturday afternoon for Rangers, who return from the international break with a Scottish Premiership clash against Hibernian at Ibrox.

While the Gers have already lost two of their opening four top-flight home games this season, Hibs have won just one of their first four league matches on the road.

Four months after losing his job with Ligue 1 side Monaco, Philippe Clement has returned to management with Rangers less than two weeks after the dismissal of Michael Beale at Ibrox.

Clement’s immediate task is to reel in bitter rivals and reigning champions Celtic in the race for the Premiership title, with Rangers currently sitting seven points behind the Hoops at the summit having already lost three of their opening eight top-flight games.

Under the tutelage of interim boss Steven Davis, Rangers suffered a disappointing 2-1 away defeat to Cypriot outfit Aris Limassol in the Europa League group stage, before bouncing back with an impressive 3-0 top-flight win against a high-flying St Mirren side in their final game before the international break, courtesy of a James Tavernier brace and a strike from Abdallah Sima.

Hibs, meanwhile, head to Ibrox boasting a six-game unbeaten run in all competitions, winning and drawing three games each including a 2-2 draw with Edinburgh rivals Hearts in their final match before the international break.

Hibs currently sit seventh in the Premiership table with nine points from their first eight games, just two points above the bottom two and six points adrift of Saturday’s opponents Rangers in second place.

The Cabbage may struggle to extend their unbeaten run this weekend as they have lost each of their last eight league visits to Ibrox, conceding at least two goals on six of those occasions; not since a 2-1 win in February 2018 have Hibs claimed all three points away against Rangers.

Rangers can ill-afford to drop too many more points in their quest to close down Celtic at the summit, and they will hope that the appointment of Clement can act as a catalyst for a turnaround in fortunes.

This is unlikely to be anything other than a home win for Rangers at 1.38 odds on BestBet360.

PSG VS STRASBOURG

Paris Saint-Germain will look to put an underwhelming start to the season behind them when they welcome Strasbourg to the Parc des Princes on Saturday.

In one of PSG’s worst starts to a season under the Qatari ownership, they return after the international break in third place in the Ligue 1 standings.

Luis Enrique went some way to redeem himself to the PSG faithful when he led his side to a 3-1 win away at Rennes shortly before the international break.

The Spanish manager is already on thin ice, especially after their humiliating 4-1 thrashing at Newcastle United in the Champions League at the start of the month.

That result, along with some other very disappointing performances, means Enrique still has a fair bit to do to turn the tide, and they must ensure league form picks up especially.

PSG looked lethargic and off it in draws with Lorient, Toulouse and Clermont, before they were outplayed by Nice on home soil in a 3-2 defeat.

The champions have looked their strongest when playing other big clubs, given they beat Borussia Dortmund comfortably in Europe, and have thrashed Lens, Lyon and Marseille already this season.

A good showing in that win over Rennes last time out should give the side plenty of confidence to go on a run now which can see them eat up the ground which they lost after a poor start.

Ahead of the visit of AC Milan to the French capital in midweek, a win and a convincing performance are required from the Parisiens here.

Facing Strasbourg could well be a stroke of good fortune just when Enrique needed it too, as the Alsace club have never beaten PSG away from home in 36 attempts dating back to 1975 – losing 28.

Patrick Vieira is the current manager looking to end the barren run, and they have made a respectable start to the campaign.

Sitting 11th, just two points off the European place is a more welcome sight than the one they suffered through for much of last season, when the club were in the relegation zone in March.

PSG have often struggled against weaker sides in Ligue 1 so far this season, but their dominant history over Strasbourg should continue here.

Two defeats before the break may have dented confidence slightly for Vieira’s men, and this remains the most daunting fixture in French football so a defeat is on the cards for the visitors.

PSG to win at 1.26 odds on BestBet360 comes handy.

GIRONA VS ALMERIA

Girona will be aiming to record their eighth La Liga victory of what has been a very impressive campaign to date when they welcome a struggling Almeria on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts are second in the table, boasting 22 points from their opening nine league games, while Almeria are rooted to the bottom of the division on just three points from nine matches.

Girona have undoubtedly been the surprise package in Spain’s top flight so far this season, with the Catalan outfit winning seven, drawing one and losing one of their nine games to collect 22 points.

Michel’s side are second in the table, just two points behind leaders Real Madrid, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side the only team to beat them in the opening two months of the 2023-24 campaign.

Girona are only in their fourth season in Spain’s top flight, finishing 10th, 18th and 10th in their previous three, so they are very much on course to make history this term, but there is still an awful lot of football to be played.

The White and Reds impressively bounced back from their 3-0 loss to Real Madrid at the end of September by recording a 1-0 victory over Cadiz before the international break, with Aleix Garcia netting the only goal of the contest in the 59th minute.

Almeria, meanwhile, have found it difficult during the 2023-24 campaign, drawing three and losing six of their nine matches, which has left them bottom of the table on three points.

La Union finished 17th in Spain’s top flight last season, only narrowly avoiding relegation back to the Segunda Division on the final matchday of the campaign, so it is not too surprising to see them at the bottom.

La Liga has a habit of throwing up surprise results when they are least expected, but  no way that is happening in this match. Girona have proved themselves to be a strong outfit this term, and the Catalan outfit should have too much for a struggling Almeria in this match.

Backing Girona to secure a comfortable home win at 1.52 odds on BestBet360.

MONACO VS METZ

Monaco can extend their winning run in Ligue 1 to three matches when they host Metz on Sunday at Stade Louis II in the Principality.

Heading into matchday nine, Les Monegasques are a point above Nice for first in the top-flight table following a 3-1 win over Reims the last time out, while Les Grenats are in early relegation danger, a point above that line after losing their previous encounter versus Nice, 1-0.

Following a speedbump in their home defeat versus arch-rivals Nice on matchday six, it seems like Monaco are back on track, winning consecutive contests to climb back into the early lead in the French top-flight this season.

Since failing to find the mark versus Nice (1-0 loss), the Monegasques attack have found their form again, scoring three goals in each of their previous two victories against Marseille (3-2) and Reims.

In his first foray as a Ligue 1 manager, Adi Hutter has enjoyed some early success, particularly in attack, where his side lead the league regarding goals scored (21).

With 17 points after eight domestic fixtures, it is their highest tally to this stage of a top-flight campaign since 2017-18 (19) when they wound up second, and with a victory this weekend, Les Monegasques can reach the 20-point plateau after nine league games for the first time since 2013-14 (21) when they also came in second.

Their current two-match winning run may not seem like a lot, but this team failed to win consecutive league contests under former manager Philippe Clement last season between March and June.

They have had their way with Metz in the top flight of late, beating them 12 of the previous 13 times that the sides have squared off, which is as many victories as they managed in their last 37 meetings against them.

Metz have suffered 16 defeats versus Monaco in Ligue 1 this century, and they will be up against a side brimming with confidence who have had virtually no trouble finding the back of the net in this competition.

Monaco to secure a routine home win comes at 1.37 odds on BestBet360.

FENERBAHCE  VS HATAYSPOR

Two sides preserving unbeaten starts meet at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul on Sunday, when Fenerbahce host Hatayspor in the Super Lig.

The hosts have been absolutely irresistible so far this season and have arguably the best record of any side in Europe so far.

Fenerbahce’s extraordinary start is on the verge of breaking records, as they have won all 14 games so far in all competitions, scoring an incredible 46 goals, while also keeping 10 clean sheets.

On the league front alone, they are in the midst of a four-game winning run without conceding, as almost six-and-a-half hours have elapsed since their goal was last breached in the Super Lig.

Ismail Kartal’s men continued their fine run with a routine 2-0 win at Kasimpasa shortly before the international break to keep them top of the table.

Bitter rivals Galatasaray remain in hot pursuit though, just two points behind, but Fener look like they will keep on winning before the two sides meet on December 24.

While Kartal will target another three points there, their league schedule does get slightly tougher in the coming weeks, with Trabzonspor, Adana Demirspor and Besiktas all to come in their next five.

With a strong Hatayspor side coming up next too, it is arguable to say their clash with Pendikspor is the only fixture in this spell which looks like a certain three points for Fener.

Hatayspor’s start has been excellent, but they have not yet faced a side of Fenerbahce’s might though, and this will be a true test of their credentials.

The Antakya-based side, which was left devastated by February’s earthquake, have returned in heroic style since getting back to action, as their early season form already has them in contention for the European places.

No side in Turkey appears capable of stopping Fenerbahce in their tracks currently, and another unbeaten start may go here with a routine home win.

Hatayspor’s start has been excellent, especially given the horrible circumstances surrounding the club over the past few months, and an expected defea

Fenerbahce to prevail at 1.22 odds on BestBet360.

LIVERPOOL v EVERTON

The first installment of this season’s Merseyside Derby takes place at Anfield on Saturday as Liverpool prepare to host eternal city rivals Everton.

Heading into the international break, both teams endured contrasting fortunes as the hosts were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton, while the Toffees returned to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bournemouth.

As the league resumes after the international break, Jurgen Klopp’s charges are in fourth place and find themselves 12 spots and 11 points better off than the Merseyside Blues on the fledgling table, despite only taking one point from the last six on offer.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings has seen the hosts win three of those games, losing once and drawing once in the Merseyside derby.

PREDICTION: Yet to taste defeat at home this term, Liverpool will hope to extend their winning run on home turf, this time against City rivals Everton, a side who last defeated their counterparts at Anfield in 2021. The hosts are the heavy favorites to claim victory and we expect nothing short of a win, so we predict a straight win for the home side (1) at 1.38 odds @Bestbet360.

MAINZ v BAYERN MUNICH

The Bundesliga resumes after the international break as Bayern aim to reclaim top spot when they travel to MEWA Arena to face Mainz on Saturday.

Heading into the break, the hosts ended a 3-game losing run following a 2-2 draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach while the Bavarian Giants went top briefly with a 3-0 win over Freiburg.

The hosts, unfortunately are among the three teams yet to register a win in the campaign so far and are languishing in the drop zone heading into this daunting clash against the reigning champions, who currently enjoy a five game unbeaten run in the league.

The H2H between both sides in their previous five clashes in all competitions has seen the host win two of those games and lose three to their visitors.

PREDICTION: Interestingly enough, the last two league clashes between these sides at the MEWA Arena saw the hosts walk away with 3-1 wins in both encounters but given how pitiful Mainz’s form has been since the start of the campaign, it seems far fetched to expect a shock upset. We firmly believe this game is perfectly poised for a Bayern victory, hence we predict a combo option of a straight win and over 2.5 goals scored (2 & ov. 2.5G) at 1.40 odds @Bestbet360.

SHEFFIELD UTD v MANCHESTER UNITED

Manchester United will aim to claim back-to-back victories for the first time this season when the side make the trip to Bramall Lane on Saturday night to take on Sheffield United.

The Blades have endured a torrid return to the EPL, suffering their seventh defeat of the campaign in the 3-1 defeat to Fulham heading into the international break, while the hosts, in remarkable fashion, scored two very late goals to complete a comeback in the 2-1 victory over Brentford.

Sheffield United, led by former Reds Paul Heckingbottom, are yet to muster a single win in the campaign after eight league games (1D,7L), a “damning” stat to compound the woes of the beleaguered side plagued with a myriad of concerns.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings in all competitions has seen the hosts win once, play a draw and lose three times to the visitors.

PREDICTION: Manchester United’s performance against Brentford was a far cry from a vintage United performance and buttressed the team’s struggles this term with poor player performances and a host of injury concerns, but this game against a struggling Sheffield could yet provide the Red Devils with a second consecutive win and we feel that’s gonna be the likely outcome. With that said, we predict a straight win for the visitors (2) at 1.46 odds @Bestbet360.

NICE v MARSEILLE

High flying Nice, keen to maintain momentum return to Ligue 1 action this weekend at the Allianz Riviera to take on Marseille on Saturday night.

Heading into the international break, the hosts returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Metz, moving to second on the table, while Marseille also returned to victory with a 3-0 win over 10-man Le Havre.

Nice, heading into this clash remain undefeated in eight league games (4W, 4D). The side led by Francesco Farioli, ahead of this huge clash against Marseille are a point behind leaders, Monaco and could go top if this result (and other results) go their way.

The H2H between both sides in their previous five meetings in all competitions has seen the results be evenly split with both sides claiming two wins apiece and playing out a draw in the last game.

PREDICTION: Four spots and four points apart, Nice are the more favourable side in this clash against a Marseille side who also have their sites set on European qualification. Both sides seem evenly matched on paper but with the hosts being the more in-form side of the pair, we feel the result might go their way, so we predict a combo option of double chance and over 1.5 goals scored in favour of the hosts (1X & ov. 1.5G) at 1.77 odds @Bestbet360.

TOTTENHAM v FULHAM

EPL Gameweek 9 will feature a London derby as league leaders (at time of writing) Tottenham Hotspur will face city rivals Fulham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday night.

The Lilywhites headed into the international break top of the log with a hard fought 1-0 win, albeit with a man down, away at Luton while the Cottagers put away the woes of the London derby defeat to Chelsea with a comfortable 3-1 win over Sheffield.

Spurs’ manger Ange Postecoglu has exceeded expectations so far given the way his side has churned out results and better still, the team remain one of the two unbeaten teams in the campaign so far (6W,2D) while Marco Silva’s team’s struggles has seen them find themselves mid table heading into this clash.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings in all competitions has seen the hosts win once, play a draw and lose three times against the visitors. Fulham ousted Spurs earlier on in the EFL Round 2 via a penalty shootout.

PREDICTION: Noteworthy for Spurs is how they’ve come out relatively unscathed against formidable opponents such as Manchester United and Liverpool this term and given Fulham’s struggles in Capital derbies and form in general, we see this game going no other way than a win for the hosts (1), that option will go for 1.54 odds @Bestbet360.

This week’s entire selection leaves you with a sempe ACCA combo of 7.55 odds thanks to your preferred bookmakers Bestbet360.
