BoomBanker 20-odds BoomBangers

It is squeaky bum time this weekend in Europe’s top leagues as the curtains are drawn over the 2022/2023 seasons in some Europe’s elite leagues including the German Bundesliga, English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, Portuguese Primeira Liga and Dutch Eredivisie.

Amidst the excitement of the last day of the season rush, the Boom Banker’s well researched 20 odds Home Wins selections are largely drawn from those matches of high significance and huge consequences.

Let’s play along!

BORUSSIA DORTMUND VS FSV MAINZ

The penultimate German Bundesliga round produced another huge twist in the tightest Bundesliga title race in recent memory as Bayern Munich were humbled 3-1 at home by Leipzig. The day after Bayern’s defeat, Borussia Dortmund rocked up in Bavaria to claim a convincing 3-0 win over a ten-man Augsburg and subsequently reclaim their own Meisterschale fate! The title equation is now simple, win here and Dortmund will break Bayern’s ten-year stranglehold on the German top-flight.

Dortmund boss Edin Terzić was philosophical in his assessment of the final day, stating that his players can have whatever material possessions they want, but they “can’t buy this moment”. Coming into this monumental clash with their longest home winning streak in this century (W11) now means it would take a brave soul to back against Dortmund becoming German champions for a ninth time!

Trying to spoil the title celebrations will be Mainz who sit a comfortable ninth in the table heading into the final day and seem to have downed tools over the last few weeks, losing each of their last four games and conceding some 13 goals in the process. In a curious twist, Mainz did Dortmund a favour earlier in the campaign by defeating Bayern 3-1, and Bayern will now pray that Mainz will build on a respectable record across their last three trips to Dortmund (W1, D1, L1) and return the favour.

This is unlikely to be anything other than a home win for Dortmund at 1.15 odds on BestBet360.

RB LEIPZIG VS SCHALKE O4

RB Leipzig have already secured third place in the Bundesliga and Champions league football for next season ahead of Saturday’s home game against Schalke in the final round of fixtures.

The visitors sit second from bottom in the table and defeat would see them drop straight down to the second tier, while even a win could still see them finish up in the bottom three.

Leipzig have the DfB Pokal final to come after the conclusion of the league but they can still end the season with a win and doom Schalke to Bundesliga 2.

Schalke managed back-to-back wins over Mainz and Bremen to give their survival hopes a boost not too long ago but have managed just one point from two games since.

Only a win will do for the visitors and they have to go on the attack from the off, and that may play right into Leipzig’s hands as the hosts are a quality team on the counter.

Leipzig have won their last four at home and are in fine form overall with eight wins in their last nine games. Boss Marco Rose may opt to rest a few players ahead of the cup final date with Frankfurt – but those players coming in will want to make a mark and try and force their way into his DfB Pokal plans.

Leipzig won the reverse fixture 6-1 and have dominated this fixture in recent years, winning each of their last four meetings with Schalke by at least three goals.

Leipzig to win at 1.62 odds on BestBet360 comes handy.

MARSEILLE VS STADE BREST

With two games remaining in the Ligue 1 season, Marseille have already wrapped up a spot in the Champions League next term. They head into this clash with Brest aiming to make a late run for second, with late comebacks something they’ve been familiar with this term.

The hosts have won 21 points after conceding the opening goal in Ligue 1, at least four more than any other team. They have every chance of repeating that turnaround this weekend, given that Brest have dropped 21 points after opening the scoring in Ligue 1 this season, the joint most alongside Troyes.

While Marseille have had their share of comebacks this term, that’s in part due to their issues at the back. Those issues have been at the forefront lately, with nine of their last 10 games seeing both teams find the net.

The hosts have conceded in 89% of their home matches this term, while they meet a Brest side who are safe from relegation after a recent rally which saw them win three of their last four. With the visitors carrying form into this one, back more goals for OM, with the possibility of another late comeback. The hosts have won three straight games at home

Backing Marseille to secure a comfortable home win at 1.38 odds on BestBet360.

LENS VS AC AJACCIO

Lens have won just 18% of their Ligue 1 games against Ajaccio, but everything points to that record turning on Saturday night. The visitors are second-bottom and doomed to play in the second-tier next season, while Lens are the only side standing in the way of PSG wrapping up the title.

The hosts have the best record at home in France’s top tier and they sit just six points shy of PSG with two games to go. While they are unlikely to complete that incredible turnaround, the fact they’re still within reach in late May shows just how fantastic this campaign has been for Lens. They’re secure second with a victory on Saturday and it’s hard to see much fight coming from Ajaccio.

Ajaccio head into this clash having lost back-to-back games 5-0, including a thumping loss at home to Rennes. They’ve conceded three goals or more in five of their last seven games, while they’ve shipped 41 goals across their 18 away games this season.

A visit to Lens shouldn’t make things easier for the visitors, who have the worst record across the last eight games in Ligue 1. Lens have won 16 of 18 home games this term, averaging over two goals per game.

Lens to secure a routine home win comes at 1.11 odds on BestBet360.

FC PORTO VS VITORIA GUIMARAES

With the 2022-23 Primeira Liga title still in their sights heading into the final matchday, Porto welcome Vitoria de Guimaraes to Estadio do Dragao on Saturday evening.

Meanwhile, the away side will be looking to record a fifth consecutive victory on the bounce and close out what has been an impressive season on a positive note.

Needing to secure maximum points to keep their title chase alive, Porto made it win number 10 in a row across all competitions following a 4-2 triumph over Famalicao at Estadio Municipal de Famalicao on Saturday.

While Azuis e brancos remain second in the Primeira Liga table, they have now moved within two points of league leaders Benfica, keeping their hopes of securing back-to-back league crowns alive.

Next up is the task of facing off against an opposing outfit who have lost each of the most recent eight meetings between the teams and boast just one win from the last 10 editions of this fixture.

Having come out on top in 14 of their 16 league matches on home turf this term, Saturday’s hosts are huge favourites to get the job done in front of their fans once again.

Moving up to 53 points from 33 league outings so far, Vitoria Guimaraes sit fifth in the standings and are through to the playoff phase of the Conference League.

Off the back of a recent resurgence away from home which has seen them win consecutive matches for the first time since October, Sunday’s visitors now brace themselves for what is set to be a daunting assignment on the road.

Porto to prevail at 1.24 odds on BestBet360.

BORUSSIA DORTMUND v MAINZ

One win away from being crowned champions for the first time in 11 years, Borussia Dortmund play host to Mainz 05 at Westfalenstadion on Saturday in the final game week of the 22/23 Bundesliga season.

Dortmund lead the way at the summit heading into the final game of the season after a comfortable 3-0 win over Augsburg, sitting two points clear of perennial German top-flight winners Bayern Munich in second place while Mainz suffered their fourth consecutive defeat in the 4-1 thumping at the hands of VFB Stuttgart.

The Black and Yellows capitalised on Bayern’s faltering form in recent weeks and have accumulated 17 points from their last 21 available, placing themselves in pole position for the title should they claim maximum points against Bo Svensson’s Mainz.

The H2H between both sides in their previous five meetings will get Dortmund hopefuls excited as the hosts have not lost in as many games, winning four and playing out a draw against their visitors. The reverse tie earlier this season ended in a 2-1 win in favour of Dortmund.

PREDICTION: The stakes could never have been higher for Dortmund who are chasing a first Bundesliga triumph in the last 11 years, in a bid to end Bayern’s continued dominance. We feel Mainz will barely offer a threat, especially at the Signal Iduna Park which has seemingly become a fortress, so we predict a home victory at a lowly 1.16 odds @Bestbet360.

EINTRACHT FRANKFURT v FREIBURG

Two teams with ambitions of their own ahead of the final matchday of the 2022-23 Bundesliga campaign will face off this weekend as Eintracht Frankfurt welcome  Freiburg to Deutsche Bank Park this weekend.

The Eagles currently occupy eighth spot on the log, three points behind sixth-placed Bayer Leverkusen, while Freiburg sit three spots above their hosts in fifth, level on points with fourth-placed Union Berlin, who host Werder Bremen on the same afternoon.

Heading into this clash, Frankfurt were held to a 2-2 draw by relegation-threatened Schalke, a result which placed a significant dent on their European qualification hopes while Frieburg snapped up a two-game losing run with a comfortable 2-0 win over Wolfsburg to draw level on points with fourth placed Union Berlin ahead of this must win clash.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings shows both sides have been the perfect foil for each other but with Frankfurt edging slightly with one more win (2W), playing two draws and losing once to the traveling Freiburg. The reverse tie earlier in the campaign ended in a 1-1 draw.

PREDICTION: Another game with high stakes, especially for the away side who are on the verge of securing a Champions League berth should all go their way, but will face stern opposition from the hosts who will want to end their topsy turvy campaign on a high in front of their home support. We feel there will be goals from both ends, so we predict a GG outcome at 1.46 odds @Bestbet360, your preferred bookmakers.

RB LEIPZIG v SCHALKE

Schalke will aim to avoid relegation-confirming defeat against RB Leipzig when both sides lock horns away at the Res Bull Arena in the final game week of the 22/23 Bundesliga season.

The hosts, meanwhile, were guaranteed Champions League qualification by blowing the title race wide open with a 3-1 victory against Bayern Munich last weekend as Schalke played out a 2-2 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt ahead of this clash.

Die Roten Bullen currently enjoy a four game winning run in the league and will hope to consolidate on the form with a home victory this time against Thomas Reis’ side who are in dire need of a win to avoid demotion, a season after gaining promotion.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings shows the hosts’ dominance as they have won four times and lost once to their opposition. The reverse tie earlier in the campaign ended in a comprehensive 6-1 win for Leipzig.

PREDICTION: Marco Rose’s side’s stellar form of late has been instrumental to their recent successes and the home side will hope to end the season on a high in their final game of the season in front of the home crowd. Both sides will offer enough goal mouth action but we feel a win for the hosts is the likely outcome, hence, we predict a home win at 1.64 odds @BestBet360.

LAZIO v CREMONESE

Lazio, after booking their spot in the Champions League ahead of next season, will fancy a chance to record back-to-back wins, fend off opposition lurking closely behind and most especially cement second position on the Serie A standings when they play hosts to Cremonese this weekend.

The Biancocelesti are enjoying a very successful season, with the side claiming a 1-0 win away at Udinese last time out and are eyeing their 11th home win of the process while Cremonese suffered a second consecutive defeat in the 5-1 bashing at the hands of Bologna last weekend, confirming their failure to maintain top flight status.

The H2H between both sides in all competitive appearances (2) sees the hosts claim two wins from two, scoring 8 goals and conceding non against their beleaguered guests. The reverse tie earlier this season ended in a 4-0 win for Lazio.

PREDICTION: Lazio have seemingly transformed the Stadio Olimpico into a real fortress and given the horrible form of Cremonese, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed, hence a combo option of a home win with over 2.5 goals (1 & ov. 2.5G) at 1.58 odds @Bestbet360 should be just what the punter prescribed.

STRASBOURG v PSG

Soon-to-be Champions PSG will hope to clinch the Ligue 1 title for the second consecutive time this weekend when they travel to the Stade de la Meinau to face Strasbourg.

The hosts secured top flight survival thanks to a 1-1 draw with Troyes last time out while the Parisian giants claimed a 2-1 win away at Auxerre, their third straight win in the league ahead of this fixture.

Le Racing coach Frederic Antonetti, albeit assured safety will aim to cause an upset against the league leaders who boast of the most potent frontline in the league: scoring 86 goals, the single most in the campaign.

The H2H between both sides in their previous five meetings paints a ‘disheartening’ picture for the hosts as they are winless in the last five clashes, losing four and drawing once against PSG. The reverse tie earlier this season ended in a 2-1 in favour of the league leaders.

PREDICTION: Keen to end a somewhat disappointing campaign with some domestic success, PSG will hope to win against Strasbourg and also secure league triumph this weekend, so, beyond all reasonable doubt, we believe the Parisian outfit will claim victory, hence, we predict a win for the away side (2) at 1.65 odds @Bestbet360.

This week’s entire selection leaves you with a sempe ACCA combo of 7.49 odds thanks to your preferred bookmakers Bestbet360.

Remember to always bet responsibly and may the odds surely be in your favor this weekend. Kpoko!!!!!

Super 2-Odds Sylvia Bangers

Super 2-Odds Sylvia Bangers

How about a Super 2-Odds Sylvia Bangers just when the final league positions are mostly defined at this point of the season, especially for the top five major leagues. Most teams with nothing left to fight for will now likely field fringe or academy players as some form of exhibition game to give visibility for some potential buyers.

A typical example was in the midweek game between Brighton and Manchester City that ended in a 1-1 draw. Even before that, while many had predicted a battering of Chelsea when they visited City over the weekend, the Cityzens surprisingly won with an underwhelming 1-0 scoreline. Perhaps they were still in celebratory mood having just been confirmed as title winners without kicking a ball.

Bearing all these in mind, we’ll be very cautious and will look to make the most of the fixtures available. May the odds be in our favour.

Sevilla v Real Madrid

Will Real Madrid still be distracted by the despicable racists abuse on Vinicius? Or will his teammates come to his support by being further motivated to claim a victory and avoid losing their spot to Atletico Madrid? We’ll see. I believe so.

Dortmund v Mainz

It’s crunch time and I can only imagine the nerves on Borussia Dortmund at this point. It’s the last game of the season and with Bayern breathing down their neck elsewhere, they have their own destiny in their hands. But do they have what it takes to push themselves over the line ahead of Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern side? We’ll see.

At the same time, there are a number of Bundesliga title deserving players in the yellow side of Germany such as Marco Reus! It’s unbelievable that he hasn’t won it or any other proper major tittle other than cup trophies. I’m a little biased towards him and the underdog here.

I’ll say it first here. Congratulations to Borussia Dortmund. It’s been a while since the last time and Super 2-Odds Sylvia Bangers is here for it!

BoomBanker 20-odds BoomBangers

20-odds BoomBanker Bangers

The Boom Banker’s 20 odds Home Wins ACCA  LANDED SUCCESSFULLY  last weekend. The sweet 20 odds win was a perfect compensation for the incessant Cut-1 experiences of the past weeks. On the back of this soothing “boooombastic” experience, the Boom Banker returns this weekend with another sweet 20-odds BoomBanker Bangers.

With the avalanche of games to choose from, the Boom Banker’s well researched Home Wins selections for this exciting weekend of football action are largely drawn from both the top and lower leagues across Europe.

Let’s play along!

LIVERPOOL VS ASTON VILLA

Liverpool looked long shots to secure Champions League football for much of this season but seven wins in a row has seen them narrow the gap between them and Newcastle and Manchester United, who currently occupy third and fourth respectively.

The Reds will probably need to win both of their remaining games if they are to land a top four spot and they won’t have everything their own way when they face Aston Villa, who are on the European trail themselves.

The Villans have won nine of their last 13 matches to draw level on points with Tottenham in the race for seventh place, which would grant a place in the Europa Conference League next season.

Liverpool’s struggles earlier in the season primarily came from their poor form on the road, they have been typically solid at Anfield this time around, losing just one of their 18 home matches in the league this season and 13 wins from that run.

In contrast with that is the poor away form of Unai Emery’s side, who have suffered back-to-back defeats on the road against Manchester United and Wolves, taking their total of away defeats this season to eight. The Reds will also be bang up for this clash with an unlikely shot at a Champions League position on the cards and an enthralling encounter could follow.

When the pair met in the reverse fixture Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners and a repeat of that scoreline is a distinct possibility. Aston Villa could keep things competitive for much of the clash but Liverpool’s class may just tell later on and they are fancied to win a game in which both teams could find the net.

This is unlikely to be anything other than a home win for Liverpool at 1.48 odds on BestBet360.

ATLETICO MADRID VS AC OSASUNA

Atletico Madrid will be bidding to bounce back from their shock result to Elche when they resume their La Liga campaign at home to Osasuna on Sunday afternoon.

Diego Simeone’s side are currently third in the table, two points behind second-placed Real Madrid, while Osasuna are ninth, only one point behind seventh-placed Girona.

Atletico saw their hopes of winning the La Liga title officially come to an end last weekend when they suffered a 1-0 loss to Elche, with Fidel’s 41st-minute goal securing a huge victory for the already-relegated hosts.

Simeone’s team were never genuinely in the race for the championship, though, and the Red and Whites are instead in a battle with bitter rivals Real Madrid for second position in the table, which would represent a strong campaign for Atletico considering their problems earlier this season.

Atleti have been largely excellent in the second half of the campaign, with a lack of European football, courtesy of finishing bottom of their Champions League section last year, allowing them to focus on domestic matters.

Atletico’s recent record against Osasuna is also very strong, winning each of the last nine top-flight matches between the two sides, including a 1-0 victory in the reverse match at the end of January.

Osasuna have often proved to be a tough nut to crack on their travels this season, picking up points in 11 of their 17 away league games. Atletico will be determined to bounce back from their shock loss to Elche,

Atleti to win at 1.37 odds on BestBet360 comes handy.

BRIGHTON VS SOUTHAMPTON

Across their last three games, Brighton have lost 5-1 at home to relegation-threatened Everton, won 3-0 at Arsenal and then lost 4-1 at Newcastle. Their style of play does lead to wild swings in terms of their scorelines, but they head into Sunday aiming to find some consistency in their European push.

The Seagulls are sixth as we head into the penultimate weekend of action, while they play a game in hand against champions-elect Manchester City in midweek. They’ve got one week left to secure their first-ever taste of European football, starting with a straightforward clash against already-relegated Southampton.

It’s fair to say the Premier League’s bottom club have gone down with a whimper. Since winning two of their first three Premier League games under Ruben Selles, Southampton have won none of their last 11 under the Spaniard, losing eight. They’re on the longest winless run in the division, while they head into this clash on the back of four defeats on the bounce.

However, the Saints’ have shown themselves capable of putting up a fight. They are woeful defensively – conceding 66 goals in 36 games – but they have scored three times in two of their last three games on the road. Unfortunately, they’ve conceded 10 goals across their last three away, letting in at least three goals in each.

There have been 25 goals scored across Brighton’s last six games, which include a 6-0 win for the Seagulls against Wolves and a 3-1 loss at Nottingham Forest. They should be confident of a good result this weekend, with the Saints conceding at least three goals in all but one of their visits to the top seven.

Backing Brighton to secure a comfortable home win at 1.24 odds on BestBet360.

MANCHESTER CITY VS CHELSEA

Manchester City are just a win away from their third successive Premier League title and they can wrap the trophy up with a comprehensive win against a Chelsea side just waiting for the season to end.

The Cityzens produced one of the finest Champions League displays in recent memory to coast past Real Madrid in midweek, extending their unbeaten streak to 23 games and making it an incredible 16 home wins on the spin – a run which started with a 4-0 demolition of Chelsea in the FA Cup in January.

They have scored at least three goals in 13 of these 16 games and can be backed to do so at the Etihad against a torrid-looking Chelsea outfit.

The Blues may have sealed the deal on Mauricio Pochettino but, for now, Frank Lampard remains in charge and the club legend has hardly impressed the critics in his second spell at the helm of the club.

Chelsea have won just one of their last 11 in all competitions and have lost seven times in that period. Their 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest last weekend means they have conceded 14 goals in their last seven competitive games and their last trip to a top-four club – Arsenal earlier this month – saw them lose 3-1.

Man City to secure a routine home win comes at 1.26 odds on BestBet360.

AJAX VS UTRECHT

Ajax play host to FC Utrecht on Sunday afternoon knowing that only a win will do if they wish to retain hope of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.

At a time when the home side sit five points adrift of second-placed PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie table, the visitors are in seventh after a two-match winning streak.

On the same day that Feyenoord were celebrating their shock title triumph, Ajax were left increasingly frustrated with their current predicament having seen their game at Groningen abandoned after 10 minutes due to crowd trouble.

That led to Johnny Heitinga’s team needing to refocus, now sitting behind fourth-placed AZ Alkmaar as they bid to achieve a Europa League spot as a bare minimum.

Heading into the final quarter of the hastily-rearranged fixture, Ajax found themselves level with their already-relegated hosts, but they rallied to secure a 3-2 victory which could prove important.

From the perspective of Utrecht, they are ending the season as one of the form teams in the division as they look to build momentum ahead of the playoffs for the final European spot.

Four wins have been posted from five games – the only defeat coming by a 3-1 scoreline at Feyenoord – and Michael Silberbauer will feel that sixth place is still a possibility even with Ajax on their schedule.

With 25 points from 16 matches, Utrecht possess one of the best away records in the division, just three points short of the total accumulated by PSV.

With Utrecht having built up a head of steam of late, this could prove to be a tricky encounter for Ajax when they are under pressure. However, rediscovering their goal scoring touch last time out can only benefit them.

Ajax to prevail at 1.29 odds on BestBet360.

Suo 7-odds Winning Selection

Suo Super 7-odds Winners

The season is winding down but Suo Super 7-odds Winners is here to make sure you win all the way to the end

TOTTENHAM v BRENTFORD

The penultimate game week in the English Premier League takes centre stage with a London derby on the cards as Tottenham Hotspurs aim to breathe new life to their European qualification ambitions when they host Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspurs stadium this weekend.

Heading into this tie, the hosts have won six of their last eight league matches on home soil, while the visitors have suffered defeat in three of their last four games on the road without reply.

Ryan Mason’s side last time out suffered a 2-1 defeat to fellow European chasers Aston Villa, extending their winless run on the road to 7 games while the Bees, tutored by Thomas Frank, went back to winning ways against city rivals West Ham, claiming a 2-0 victory against the Hammers.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings shows Spurs’ recent successes against the Bees, winning three and playing out two draws as Brentford look for their first win in as many games against Tottenham. The  reverse tie ended in a stalemate, with the scoreline ending in a 2-2 draw.

PREDICTION: While Spurs’ form on the road may not be remotely impressive, their prowess at home may motivate the side ahead of this crucial tie as the season draws to a close. Meanwhile Brentford will aim to get a win over Spurs and strengthen ambitions of their own. We cannot get past the form of the hosts at home so we predict a combo option of DC & ov. 1.5 at 1.41 odds @Bestbet360.

LIVERPOOL v ASTON VILLA

Liverpool continue their stunning turnaround to a truly forgettable start to the campaign and could move into the top four if all goes according to plan when the Merseyside outfit square off against Aston Villa at Anfield for their final home game of the season this weekend.

The Merseyside Reds extended their winning run to seven games with 3-0 win away at relegation-threatened Leicester City last time out while Villa bounced back to winning ways in a 2-1 victory over Spurs, boosting their continental qualification hopes.

Jurgen Klopp’s side’s win over Leicester again proved the quality inherent in that squad and ensured a truly entertaining top four race as Liverpool remain one point behind fourth-placed Manchester United, albeit having played one game more.

The H2H between both teams in their last five meetings reiterates the host’s dominance against said opposition as Liverpool have won all five of the last games, with Villa still searching for a win in recent games against Liverpool. The reverse tie earlier this season ended in a 3-1 win for Liverpool, away at Villa Park.

PREDICTION: Keen to return to the Champions League qualification spots, Liverpool will fancy a go at a side who haven’t won against them in the past three years and given their form of late, with seven consecutive wins, we fancy an eighth win may be on the menu this weekend, so we predict a win for the hosts at 1.48 odds @Bestbet360.

FULHAM v CRYSTAL PALACE

The final London derby of a remarkably entertaining 2022-23 Premier League campaign takes place at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon, as Fulham and Crystal Palace prepare to renew old rivalries.

Heading into this clash, both teams claimed somewhat comfortable 2-0 wins in their most recent outings, as Marco Silva’s men all but confirmed Southampton’s relegation from top flight football while the Eagles went back to winning ways as they strolled past Bournemouth at Selhurst Park.

Marco Silva’s remarkable work with The Cottagers on their return to the EPL has been worthy of repute as the manager earned himself a Manager of the season nomination for his ‘good deeds’ with the London outfit, while veteran gaffer Roy Hodgson will hope to steer his side to victory against their city rivals.

The H2H between both sides in their last five clashes shows Palace have had a better share of results in this particular tie; winning thrice, playing one draw and losing once to Fulham. The reverse tie ended in a 3-0 for Fulham away at Selhurst Park.

PREDICTION: The final London Derby of the campaign is setting up nicely to be a keenly contested affair between sides who have recently discovered some attacking flair, hence we predict a GG outcome at 1.77 odds @Bestbet360.

BAYERN MUNICH v RB LEIPZIG

On the cusp of an 11th straight Bundesliga triumph, Bayern Munich would aim to expedite that outcome with a likely win over RB Leipzig when both sides face off at the Allianz Arena this weekend.

The Bavarian giants last time out thumped Schalke 6-0 on home turf to extend their winning run to three games, while Die Roten Bullen’s 2-1 win over Werder Bremen extended their own winning run to three games also, moving them to third on the league table.

Thomas Tuchel’s charges will fancy their only chance at some silverware this season and know anything short of a win against Marco Rose’s side could put that dream in jeopardy with 2nd-placed Borussia Dortmund lurking closely behind with title-claiming ambitions of their own.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings puts Bayern in the ‘driving seat’ against Leipzig as the leaders have won four of those games, playing out a draw in the other, ensuring they are undefeated against the visitors in as many games. The reverse fixture ended in a stalemate, with a 1-1 scoreline.

PREDICTION: Both sides, heading into this tie have impressed with their recent outings and will aim to halt the progress of the other to further their own ambitions. Given the attacking flair on display, we predict a GG outcome at 1.48 odds @Bestbet360.

ATHLETICO MADRID v OSASUNA

Hosts Atletico Madrid will be gunning to bounce back from a shock 1-0 defeat to Elche when they host Osasuna at the iconic Estadio Wanda Metropolitano this weekend.

Los Rojiblancos, last time out saw a three-game winning run snapped with a 1-0 loss to Elche while 9th placed Osasuna a miserable three-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over Almeria in the previous game week.

Diego Simone’s men have been impressive on home turf this season, with the team eyeing their eighth consecutive win in Madrid, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. While for Jagoba Arrasate’s side, consolidating on the win against Almeria will be heavy on the minds of the the team who make the trip to a particularly precarious destination.

The H2H between both sides in their previous five meetings shows why the hosts are favourites heading into this tie as they have not lost any of those games against the visitors, with the reverse fixture earlier this season ending in a slender 1-0 win for Atletico.

PREDICTION: The home side are clear favorites heading into this game and for good reason as Osasuna still dream of a win against their opposition for the first time in as many outings, that being said, we feel this game will most likely tilt to the side of the hosts, so we predict a win for the home side at 1.37 odds @Bestbet360, your preferred bookmakers.
