After the international break, let us dive into the straight wins market for the weekend.

See below;

Atletico Madrid v Mallorca

Atletico Madrid have created the second most chances in the league this season and they are in form side.

Mallorca are struggling at the bottom and it’s a bad weekend to visit Metropolitan.

PREDICTION: Atletico Madrid win. Valued at 1.41 odds on BestBet360

Portsmouth v Blackpool

Portsmouth might still be on their club-record unbeaten run but two draws in their last three games has cut their lead at the top cut to one point.

Blackpool are struggling to string together a consistent run of results but they are the good run as well

PREDICTION: Portsmouth to win either halves. Valued at 1.46 odds on BestBet0

Bolton v Exeter City

Bolton are the form team in League One right now with five straight victories as they continue to push for promotion.

Exeter make the long trip up to Lancashire looking to stop the rot following a nightmare run of results in recent months.

PREDICTION: Bolton to win either halves is valued at 1.43 odds on BestBet360.

Zenit v Sochi

FC Zenit failed to defeat league leaders FC Krasnodar last time out and remain in second place after 15 matches.

PFC Sochi lost at home to FC Rubin Kazan in last round’s match and aren’t likely to cause any major upset to the current Russian champions next time out.

PREDICTION: Zenith to win is valued at 1.32 odds on BestBet360

Roma v Udinese

Roma shared points with Lazio in a goalless and nervy Derby della Capitale, which left them three points off Napoli in fourth place.

On the other hand, Udinese came close to upsetting Atalanta two weeks ago but eventually had to settle for a point after conceding a late goal.

This could be a narrow win for Roma.

PREDICTION: Roma to win either halves is valued at 1.23 odds on BestBet360.

Not to sound unpatriotic, but it’s always a thing of relief to see mid-season international breaks come and go especially if your team, e.g, Chelsea, was doing well before the break and your national team , e.g, Nigeria, didn’t perform well during the break. Better days ahead. Lol. Back to the matter of the leagues. From here on, it’s a marathon until February 2024. This weekend I’ve made an ACCA of 331.79 odds. For our brave two plus odds punters, there is a good selection available for you too. May the odds be in our favour.

10 Games, 30 odds from the Boom Banker

10 The Boom Banker returns with juicy, well researched 32 odds Home Wins ACCA on a weekend when the domestic club football actions return across leagues in Europe after the last FIFA international break for the year 2023.

With many favourites well refreshed and still having the advantage of playing on their home turf this weekend, the Boom Banker’s Home Wins ACCA for this weekend are largely drawn from the top leagues across Europe.

Let’s play along!

BORUSSIA DORTMUND VS  BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH

Borussia Dortmund return to league action after the international break with a home clash against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Edin Terzic’s side will hope the break can help them reset after a troubling run of form, while the visitors remain marooned in mid-table.

After an excellent start that saw Dortmund keeping pace with Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich at the top, the wheels have fallen off slightly.

Taking just one point from the three league matches before the international break saw them slip a long way off contention for the title already.

After drawing 3-3 with Eintracht Frankfurt, Dortmund then saw their 17-game unbeaten league run come to an end when they were thrashed 4-0 at home by Bayern.

It does not get any easier for Terzic either, as Gladbach can be tricky opponents, and Leverkusen follow next week before RB Leipzig travel to Signal Iduna Park.

Home form has been a reliable source of points, though, as the defeat to Bayern was their first here in 2023 in any competition.

After last season’s underwhelming 10th-place finish, it has not been an ideal start for Gladbach.

Gladbach have been very kind opponents for Dortmund in recent years, as the hosts have won the last 10 meetings here, and the Foals have not shown enough this season to suggest they can end that run.

Both sides have shown goalscoring form of late, and goals have been commonplace in this fixture too, as Dortmund have scored 49 in their last 15 home clashes with Gladbach, and the last three head-to-heads have produced 19 goals, with BVB winning the last two here by 6-0 and 5-2 scorelines.

This is unlikely to be anything other than a home win for Dortmund at 1.52 odds on BestBet360.

GETAFE VS  ALMERIA

Basement side Almeria’s search for their first victory of the 2023-24 La Liga campaign will continue in the Spanish capital on Saturday evening, when they take on Getafe at Estadio Coliseum.

The visitors are rock bottom of the table, collecting only three points from their first 13 matches, while Getafe are in 11th position, picking up 16 points from their opening 13 games of the season.

Getafe have very much been the draw specialists in Spain’s top flight this season, sharing the points in seven of their 13 matches, while they have also posted three wins and three defeats, with a total of 16 points leaving them in 11th position in the division.

Jose Bordalas’s side are unbeaten in all competitions since a 4-3 loss to Real Sociedad in the league at the end of September, drawing six and winning two of their last eight matches.

Getafe have won two of their last three, meanwhile, including a 12-0 success over Tardienta in the Copa del Rey at the start of the month before recording a 1-0 victory over Cadiz in Spain’s top flight.

The capital side entered the international break off the back of a 1-1 draw with Granada, though, and they have shared the points in six of their last seven league encounters.

Almeria only narrowly avoided relegation from Spain’s top flight last season, finishing in 17th position, and there is no getting away from the fact that it has been a tough opening to this campaign.

La Union have drawn three and lost 10 of their 13 league matches this season to collect three points, which has left them in 20th position, six points behind 17th-placed Mallorca.

Getafe are not losing at the moment, but they are finding it difficult to win, and Almeria certainly have the quality to avoid defeat this weekend. This is expected to be a very tight game in terms of the scoreline but Getafe should be able to pick up all three points courtesy of a narrow success.

Getafe to secure a routine home win comes at 1.69 odds on BestBet360.

ATLETICO MADRID VS MALLORCA

Atletico Madrid will be bidding to make it three straight wins in all competitions when they resume their La Liga campaign at home to Mallorca on Saturday night.

Diego Simeone’s side, who are fourth in the table, beat Villarreal 3-1 in Spain’s top flight before the international break, while 17th-placed Mallorca suffered a 2-0 loss to Real Betis in their last match.

Atletico have won nine, drawn one and lost two of their 12 league matches this season to collect 28 points, which has left them in fourth spot in the table, six points behind the leaders Girona.

The Red and Whites are in a strong position, though, as they have a game in hand on 16 of the other 19 teams in the division and sit only four points off Real Madrid in second, so Simeone’s side are very much in the title picture at this stage of the campaign.

Atletico suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to Las Palmas in La Liga at the start of November, but they bounced back impressively in the Champions League, putting six unanswered goals past Celtic, before beating Villarreal 3-1 in the league before the international break.

Mallorca have made an underwhelming start to the campaign, only picking up nine points from their first 12 league games, which has left them in 17th position in the table.

The Pirates finished up in ninth spot in Spain’s top flight last term, but consistency has been a real problem during the 2023-24 campaign, only managing one win in the league, which came away to Celta Vigo in the middle of September.

Mallorca are capable of making this a tricky match, with the visitors drawing half of their league games this season. Atletico are so strong at home, though, and are expected to record their 10th league victory of the campaign this weekend.

Atletico Madrid to win at 1.41 odds on BestBet360 comes handy.

NICE VS TOULOUSE

French Ligue 1 defensive specialists Nice endeavour to maintain a position on the podium when Toulouse head to the Allianz Riviera on Sunday lunchtime.

Les Aiglons continued their astonishing run of shut-outs by drawing 0-0 with Montpellier HSC last time out, while their visitors held out for a 1-1 stalemate at Lille.

Rearguard excellence for the men in red and black is nothing new, as Christophe Galtier oversaw a string of dogged defensive displays during his only season in charge of Nice in 2021-22, and Francesco Farioli’s staunch performers are by far and away the toughest nut to crack in the division this time around too.

Lady luck was partially responsible for their one point at Montpellier before the international break, though, as La Paillade struck the post either side of the half-time whistle, and Les Aiglons did little to truly test the gloves of Benjamin Lecomte at the other end of the field.

Nevertheless, that lacklustre stalemate ensured that Nice would head into the November hiatus at the only French top-flight side still with their unbeaten record intact this term.

A new page of French football history could also be written, as Nice are yet to trail in a match after 12 gameweeks this season; since data has been available from 1947-48, only the 1984-85 Bordeaux crop have also managed to go 12 games without falling behind, and Les Girondins went on to win the title that year.

The omens are certainly promising for Nice in that regard, while in contrast, Toulouse fell behind to Lille when they took on Les Dogues at their Stade Pierre-Mauroy fortress, but Carles Martinez’s men also gleaned a point from their most recent affair, which was a tale of two headers.

Forced to work without the suspended Dallinga and injured Aboukhlal, Toulouse’s chances of breaching a near-impenetrable Nice backline are wafer-thin, and Martinez’s men could learn a thing or two about rearguard mastery from their upcoming opponents.

For all of the hosts’ remarkable work at the back, 13 goals at the correct end of the field is still the worst record in the top four, so only a solitary strike may separate the sides on Sunday as Nice extend their unbeaten record.

Backing Nice to secure a comfortable home win at 1.55 odds on BestBet360.

GALATASARAY VS ALANYASPOR

Fresh off the back of a shock defeat against Hatayspor, Galatasaray play host to Alanyaspor at Rams Park in round 14 of the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.

The visiting side, who have lost each of their last four league outings, will head into the weekend looking to stop the rot and pull clear of the bottom three.

Galatasaray were condemned to successive defeats for the first time since March 2022 as they fell to a shock 2-1 loss at the hands of Hatayspor in their last outing before the international break.

This followed a 2-1 loss against German champions Bayern Munich in the Champions League on November 18, a result which left them third with four points in Group A and dealt a fresh blow to their dreams of reaching the knockout stages.

Prior to their loss against Hatayspor, Okan Buruk’s men were on a blistering run of 10 straight league wins and were unbeaten in their last 16, claiming 15 wins and one draw since April’s 3-1 loss against rivals Besiktas.

The Aslanlar have now picked up 12 wins, one draw and lost one of their 12 Super Lig matches so far to collect 31 points and sit second in the table, only below first-placed Fenerbahce on goal difference.

Alanyaspor, on the other hand, were left empty handed once again as they fell to a 3-0 hammering against Gaziantep at the Bahcesehir Okullari Arena just before the international break.

Galatasaray have suffered a slight drop-off in form of late but boast the firepower needed to get the result this weekend. Given the gulf in class and quality between the two sides, Buruk’s men are heavily favored to come away with a comfortable victory.

Galatasaray to prevail at 1.21 odds on BestBet360.

MAN CITY v LIVERPOOL (over 2.5)

Premier league action returns this weekend with a host of exciting fixtures, first on the list is the bumper tie at the Etihad as Manchester City prepare to host Liverpool in Saturday’s early kick off.

The Cityzens, prior to the international break were held to a pulsating 4-4 draw by Chelsea, ending their three-game winning run in dramatic fashion while the Anfield Reds went back to winning ways with a convincing 3-0 win over Brentford to move into second on the standings.

Heading into this clash, the hosts top the league standings with 28 points from 12 games while the visiting side lie a solitary point behind in second ahead of a potentially cracking encounter.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings in all competitions has seen Manchester City claim two wins while Liverpool have three of their own. The last meeting at the Etihad saw the Cityzens run away with a 4-1 win at home earlier in April.

PREDICTION: Both sides face a number of concerns which include injuries and personnel fighting off jet lag in order to attain match fitness ahead of this game, while we expect both sides to not be at their free-flowing best, given the plethora of quality at Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp’s disposal, we expect goalmouth action from start to finish. We predict over 2.5 goals scored in this tie, that option should go for 1.43 odds @Bestbet360.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST v BRIGHTON

Two teams keen to return to winning ways in the Premier league lock horns this weekend at the City Ground as Nottingham Forest prepare to host Brighton on Saturday.

The Tricky Trees last time out succumbed to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of West Ham while Brighton were held to a drab 1-1 draw with Sheffield United, bringing their winless tally to six league games heading into the international break.

Steve Cooper’s charges lie eight points above the drop zone with 13 points and will hope to put up a good shift in front of the home crowd and potentially extend their unbeaten record at home to nine games. Meanwhile The Seagulls, led by Roberto de Zerbi will hope for better fortunes and a much needed win on their trip to the Midlands this weekend.

The H2H between both sides in their last five games in all competitions has seen the results be evenly split with each side claiming two wins apiece and playing out a draw in the other game. The last game at City Ground between these two sides saw Nottingham claim a 3-1 win earlier on in April.

PREDICTION: While the hosts will relish the opportunity to go unbeaten in their first five home league matches of a Premier League campaign for only the second time since 1995, they face a Brighton outfit who are by no means pushovers. The visitors, albeit with a depleted squad would be expected to at least go home with a point against a side formidable on their on turf. We predict a combo option of double chance and over 1.5 goals scored in favour of the hosts (1X & ov. 1.5 G), that option will go for 1.99 odds @Bestbet360.

ATHLETICO MADRID v MALLORCA (1 & ov. 2.5G)

La Liga Action resumes this weekend after the International break as Athletico Madrid prepare to host Mallorca at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday night’s late night kickoff.

The Los Rojiblancos last time out strengthened their grip on the top four with a 3-1 win over Villarreal in Spain’s top flight before the international break, while 17th-placed Mallorca suffered a 2-0 loss to Real Betis in their previous game.

Diego Simone’s side heading into this clash lie in fourth with 28 points, six adrift of surprise leaders Girona while Mallorca, led by Javier Aguierre sit two points above the drop zone with 9 points and could have their woes compounded further with defeat away at Athletico.

The H2H between both sides in their last five games has seen the hosts win two while the visitors claimed theee wins. The previous meeting at the Wanda Metropolitano saw Atletico run away with a 3-1 victory earlier on in April.

PREDICTION: Atletico Madrid’s home record this term has been remarkable as the side have won all six games on home turf this term and could yet extend the run further with a win this Saturday against a struggling Mallorca who are winless in their last seven games heading into this tie. We firmly believe the home side will claim maximum points, so we predict a home win (1) at 1.41 odds @Bestbet360.

BORUSSIA DORTMUND v BORUSSIA MÖNCHENGLADBACH.

The German Bundesliga returns after the international break with action set to get underway this weekend as Borussia Dortmund welcome Borussia Mönchengladbach to the Signal Iduna Park this Saturday.

Die Schwarzgelben, heading into the break, tasted defeat away at Stuttgart, losing 2-1, thus being winless in their last three league games while Die Fohlen claimed a convincing 4-0 win over Wolfsburg, extending their unbeaten run to three games.

The Hosts led by Edin Terzic head into this game outside the top four in fifth with 21 points, 10 behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen, while Gerardo Seoane’s Möchengladbach outfit’s recent upturn in fortunes has seen them move up to ninth with 13 points after enduring a shaky start to the campaign.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings in all competitions has seen the hosts win three and lose two against the visitors.

PREDICTION Borussia Mönchengladbach have not had the best of time in their recent travels to the Signal Iduna Park, as the hosts have won the last 10 meetings here, and the Foals have not shown enough this season to suggest they can end that run, albeit, if their form of late is anything to go by, we can expect enough goalmouth action this weekend. While we expect Borussia Mönchengladbach to prove tricky opponents, we believe Borussia Dortmund will eventually come out tops, hence we predict a home win (1) at 1.51 odds @Bestbet360.

BRENTFORD v ARSENAL.

Fresh off the international break, a London derby is on our hands as Brentford welcome city rivals Arsenal to the G-Tech Community stadium on Saturday’s late kickoff.

The Bees last time out saw the end of their three-game winning run at the hands of Liverpool following a 3-0 defeat ahead of the international break, while the Gunners returned to winning ways with a 3-1 win over Burnley.Thomas Frank’s side of will aim to avenge the Carabao Cup third round defeat to Mikel Arteta’s Gunners and dent their title charge.

The H2H between both sides in their last five meetings across all competitions has seen the hosts rack up a solitary win, play a draw and lose three games to the hosts. The last game at the G-Tech Community stadium saw Arsenal claim a 1-0 win in the Carabao Cup earlier in September.

PREDICTION: Brentford are yet to lose any Capital derby in the league this term, claiming wins against the like of Chelsea and West Ham, to name a few. The Bees will hope to secure victory against a Gunners outfit looking to claim top spot with a win of their own in what promises to be an exciting derby fixture. We expect end-to-end action, with goals too, so we predict a GG outcome in this tie, that option should go for 1.67 odds @Bestbet360.

This week’s entire selection leaves you with a sempe ACCA combo of 8.01 odds thanks to your preferred bookmakers Bestbet360.
