The Boom Banker’s 20 odds Home Wins picks for last weekend was only binned by Raja Casablanca who were beaten 1-0 at home by Olympique Khouribga. On the back of the painful Cut-1, the Boom Banker returns this weekend with another sweet 20-odds Home Wins ACCA.

With the avalanche of games to choose from, the Boom Banker’s well researched Home Wins selections for this ‘exciting weekend of football actions’ are largely drawn from both the top and lower leagues across Europe.

Let’s play along!

REAL MADRID VS GETAFE

With a massive Champions League semi-final to come on Wednesday night, it’s fair to say this clash with Getafe is unlikely to be the focus for Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti knows the title is beyond them, with Real having slipped to third – 14 points shy of Barcelona.

The clash is much more important for their city rivals, with Getafe third-bottom and facing relegation. They need to improve in the run-in, starting with an away record which has seen them win just twice on their travels all season.

While Real are set to rotate, the visitors are still up against it in this clash. They’ve lost 25 of their last 35 meetings with Real, including 13 away defeats. They head into this game without a win in their last 10 trips, losing seven times.

The visitors have also struggled against the league’s stronger sides, losing four of their five away to the current top seven. On the other hand, Ancelotti’s men have won all nine of their home clashes with sides in the bottom half.

This is unlikely to be anything other than a home win for Madrid at 1.55 odds on BestBet360.

BORUSSIA DORTMUND VS BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH

Incredibly, it was a six-game winless run on the road which dented Dortmund hopes across three competitions this season. They exited the Champions League and DFB Pokal with 2-0 defeats at Chelsea and Leipzig, while four-straight away draws cost them top spot in the Bundesliga, where they trail Bayern Munich by a point.

However, Dortmund have kept in touch with the champions through some blistering form. While a treble may seem like dizzy heights for this Dortmund side, they have already scored 48 league goals in 2023 – the best record in Europe’s top five leagues ahead of Manchester City (45).

Many of those have come at home, with the club winning their last 10 home league games. They’ve racked up 41 goals in that time and judging by their record in this fixture, there are more to come.

Borussia Dortmund have won 16 of their last 17 competitive home games against Borussia Monchengladbach, including each of the last nine. Their aggregate score in that time is 49-9, which lines up with the gulf between these two sides heading into Saturday evening’s clash.

While Dortmund have the best home record in the Bundesliga, Gladbach have one of the worst. Only Hertha Berlin have picked up a smaller share of their points on the road, with the visitors winning only nine across their last 15 trips. Gladbach have scored the joint-fewest goals in the Bundesliga in the calendar year, so they should struggle to match the hosts.

Dortmund to win at 1.25 odds on BestBet360 comes handy.

MANCHESTER UNITED VS WOLVERHAMPTON

Back-to-back 1-0 defeats at Brighton and West Ham have given Liverpool real hope of collaring Manchester United in the battle for top four, but the Red Devils can ease the nerves with a vital home victory over Wolves.

Erik Ten Hag’s side are fourth and now only one point clear of the Reds after their recent blunders, but they remain in control as they have a game in hand over their Merseyside rivals.

But United know they can ill-afford any more slip-ups and Ten Hag will be demanding a positive response against Wolves at Old Trafford.

United have been pretty reliable on home soil this season, winning 12 and drawing three of their 17 league matches. With only eight goals conceded in those 17 home outings, United boast the meanest home defence in the division by some way.

The Red Devils made a sluggish start to the season but they have kept ten clean sheets in their last 13 home league outings, which includes five in a row.

That shows they have been managing the situation well despite injuries to star centre-backs Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane and it’s likely their match with Wolves is another low-scoring affair.

Eight of Manchester United’s last nine league games have featured two or fewer goals with one or both teams failing to score in 11 of their last 12 top-flight fixtures.

Wolves have improved in recent weeks to ease away from relegation danger, winning four of their last six league matches.

However, all of those victories have come at their beloved Molineux and they have lost four of their last five away league matches, which includes a 6-0 hiding at Brighton in the most recent of them.

Backing United to secure a comfortable home win at 1.38 odds on BestBet360.

JUVENTUS VS CREMONESE

Despite sitting second in Serie A, five points clear of fifth, Juventus arguably have more certainty of making the Champions League through the Europa League this term. With their potential 15-point hit still hanging over them, a European trophy would be good insurance in case their punishment knocks them out of the top four.

However, Juve drew 1-1 with Sevilla in the home leg of their semi-final on Thursday and they now face a difficult visit to Spain on Thursday night. It’s hard to see Sunday’s clash with Cremonese taking precedence for the hosts, while the visitors are busy fighting against the drop.

The visitors are second-bottom in Serie A, but they’ve taken 16 points from 15 games in the second half of the campaign to keep their survival hopes alive. The visitors head into this game unbeaten in four, while they’ve already scored in visits to both Milan sides, Atalanta and Fiorentina this season.

The visitors have found the net in five of their last six trips, while Juve have managed one clean sheet in eight. While the visitors can cause some problems, they’re vulnerable defensively. Cremonese’s keeper Marco Carnesecchi has made the most saves in the Big-5 European leagues in 2023 (80), but they’ve still conceded 59 goals against an Expected Goals tally of 62.

Juventus have never lost in Serie A against Cremonese, winning 11 of 15 clashes. The hosts have won 10 of their 13 home league matches since the beginning of October.

Juventus to secure a routine home win comes at 1.38 odds on BestBet360.

MARSEILLE VS ANGERS

Marseille went down 2-1 at Lens in their last outing but should be able to get back to winning ways when they host relegated Angers on Sunday.

That result saw Marseille drop down to third in the standings as Lens moved into second spot, but with four games remaining Marseille are still in with a chance of securing automatic qualification for next season’s Champions League.

Marseille’s defence has looked vulnerable in recent weeks and they have managed just one clean sheet in their last eight games, and they have conceded in each of their last four wins.

Les Phoceens have conceded in each of their last nine at the Velodrome so a home win with both teams to score appeals here, as it is hard to see Angers claiming any points but they should be able to grab a goal.

Angers, who sit bottom of Ligue 1 with just 14 points, have scored in all of their last six games despite losing four of those, and they should be able to play with a bit of freedom against their hosts now they know they will be playing in the second tier next season.

Marseille to prevail at 1.20 odds on BestBet360.
